Physical Therapy

Alan is originally from Tifton, GA, and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. He then attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and attained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012.  Following graduation, he completed a residency in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. He then furthered his post-professional specialization by completing a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy with the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He was awarded Fellow status with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2017. He is also board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist which is recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association. Other relevant certifications include dry needling, spinal/ extremity manipulation, manual therapy, and Diploma in Osteopractic Physical Therapy. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, golfing, fishing, hunting, and going to the beach.
